North London Mountaineering Club Banner

Welcome to the North London Mountaineering Club Website.
We are one of London's most active climbing and mountaineering clubs, and offer an excellent and friendly forum for meeting keen climbers and mountaineers at all levels of the sport. With weekly indoor climbing meets and frequent trips away, there are many opportunities to participate in club activities.. more about membership benefits, joining us or contact our new members' secretary via our enquiry form.

Treen

Treen BBQ Meet - 19-21st June, Cornwall

The club's annual Solstice Meet is rapidly approaching. Lots of local climbing to be had at Chair Ladder and Land's End; with Bosigran and Sennen both just a short drive away. Camping is arranged at Treen as usual with a beach BBQ on Saturday night.

Latest Newsletter - April 2009
The latest issue of the club newsletter is now available for download. Articles include: Dave Kaufman climbing in the Dolomites; Part I of George Wilson's history of the club huts; SIBL; Bob Adams' poetry corner; a guide to climbing in West Penwith and Sara reveals a bizarre hut booking enquiry.

You can download the newsletter from the members' area of the site.

New Club Email Groups
The club has reorganised the way emails to subscribers are sent. There are now two lists: "The News List" which keeps members (and almost members!) informed of key club events and news; and a "chat group". You can find out more about the groups and how to join them here
