The BMC is running a series of training courses this year, all of which are aimed specifically at club members and are interested in any takers. The following is an overview, the links pointing to Word Documents giving further details.
This stunning film, which won the people’s Choice award at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival in November, documents Dave MacLeod and Andy Turner’s epic ascent of ‘The Long Hope.’ There is a discount available for NLMC club members- so come down to the RGS on February 8th for some inspiration on climbing 1400 feet of loose, bird infested sea-cliff (as if you needed any!)
After the very successful new members meet earlier in the year NLMC has decided to run a second meet at the club hut in Snowdonia over the weekend Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October
The current NLMC website design is about 10 years old and during the next couple of months we are giving it a major overall.
The club heads to Cornwall to climb the sea cliffs and for the annual barbecue on the beach. There will be cream teas and the longest daylight hours of the year.
The barn is available for use by club member's and their families.
A fantastic way to join the club- come along and climb with us, and stay at our cottage in North Wales to get a flavour of what NLMC is like.
