Events
In addition to the events listed below, club members tend to go away climbing every weekend. These trips are arranged informally at the club’s sessions on Monday or Wednesday.

Instructional Weekend (self rescue) for Members

Opportunity for 4 members per day to go on a day of subsidised instruction with an instructor from Plas y Brenin. The emphasis will be on safe climbing and how to deal with the unexpected if it does not all quite go to plan! Very useful skills to have. One day could also be safe/confident lead climbing coaching if required.

Working Meet 2011

Time to get your overalls on and attend to much needed maintenance of the cottage and barn to keep them nice for everyone to stay in.
DIY skills welcome, but jobs for all - last year it was quite a social affair, especially in the evening(!) and much fun was had!
(Yes this is the same weekend as the instructional weekend - learn one day, clean the next! :)

AGM and Annual Dinner 2011

The dinner will be at to Manorbier YHA in Pembroke, scene of the very successful annual dinner a few years ago. We will have the whole hostel to ourselves. The hostel is literally minutes form the Pembroke sea cliffs and we hope to arrange for a ceildh band in case the climbing isn’t exhausting enough.
